  For majority of questions, we strongly encourage you to first search our website for overview information

  Most requests and action items can be easily submitted by students through our portal: https://ihopkins.jhu.edu/

  If you cannot find an answer on our website or portal, please email us at ois@jhu.edu with your inquiry so that advisors may properly review and research the issue prior to responding. You will receive a response within 2 business days
• Telephone Advising
  Advisors are available by phone for general questions that can be answered in approximately 5-7 minutes. We cannot respond to eForm request status inquiries by phone. No appointment is needed, however wait times may vary throughout the year. Example questions for phone advising include on-campus employment, and work authorization eligibility.

• Video Advising
  For students with more complex questions such as, a leave of absence, issues with OPT or CPT, a longer, 15-minute appointment can be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
