DESCRIPTION:Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a 12-month work authorizat
 ion allowing international students to remain in the United States and wor
 k immediately after program completion.  Participants of this workshop w
 ill understand the eligibility requirements for OPT\, deadlines to apply
  for OPT\, necessary steps for OPT application\, and reporting requirement
 s for students once they are in their post-completion OPT period.  OIS re
 commends all eligible students apply for OPT as early as possible due to e
 xpected USCIS processing times.
